About the Author

Nicoli Carr grew up in the wilds of Southwestern New Mexico, where the outdoors and books fired his imagination. Soon he was telling his own tall tales his parents dubbed "his windys," which his sisters refused to believe. His interest in storytelling continued through several creative writing classes in college and completion of the Long Ridge Writers Group course, "Basics of Writing Stories & Articles for Publication." He continues to love stories in all their forms and strives to find and share more "windys" with the world. He is currently a stay-at-home dad and lives in Northern New Mexico with his wife, young son, two cats, and two dogs (yes, one of them is named Wally). This is his first children's book.
