Despite all its natural beauty, the city of Los Angeles can feel like cruel and unforgiving place. Between the haves and the have nots, the wannabes and already-made-its, and all those forgotten souls who roam the streets, everyone is struggling to find themselves in this sprawling wasteland. This collection of poems tells different stories of hope, loss, dreams and despair at specific intersections and streets all around the city.
The collection is divided into different areas of the city and each paints a very different reality for those who live there.
This collection is A.W. Sam's debut poetry book.
