Overview

Childhood is over and Daniel feels lost in his own life. He dreams of running away, hoping that new shores might bring new adventures. But the waters of the world always take us to unexpected places on our voyages of discovery, and he may find that the answer to his future is in rediscovering his past.

Sixteen-year-old Daniel is leaving his home in Brazil, off to study abroad in the United States. The journey to find the happiness he hasn't felt in so long brings new friends, new experiences, and new perspectives. However, as he navigates this new life, Daniel discovers that his biggest adventure lies not in his future, but in his past, as he runs into his childhood best friend, Breno, who he hasn't seen in ten years. As they pick up where they left off and get to know these new versions of themselves, the two boys start to realize that maybe their long-lost friendship could turn into something more.

Watercolor is a story about the struggles of growing up, the beauty of finding one's kindred spirits, and the thrill of life's unexpected adventures.
