Rosie Lee Holmes is now retired and lives in California with her husband, James Sr. She is the mother of three children: James Holmes Jr., Delores Stendifer, and Carolyn Lovejoy.

In addition to writing both prose and poetry, the author enjoys playing the piano, quilting, and reading. Ms. Holmes draws on her Southern upbringing, her work with the elderly and with children, and her personal life experiences as she shares her faith. This is her first published book.
