Overview

Amandine Herschel, Alpha female of the Colville, Washington werewolf pack, has grown used to being a wolf. What she cannot ever accept is the risk of discovery this fact brings every day of her life. She's determined to find a cure, even if it kills her.

But what if there were a cure? Who would take it? Who would refuse? And what would that do to the social fabric of the packs? A cure isn't as black and white a prospect as it seems.

Author's note: I first learned to tell stories on an internet game called AmberMUSH, now long defunct. I stopped playing, but couldn�t stop telling stories! This story is number nine in a series of at least 11 (with a 12th one started and stalled) I don�t know where it ends, yet. I guess we�ll find out together. Want to chat? I have been married for twenty-two years and have four beautiful homeschooled daughters who have grown up knowing the werewolves in these stories as if they were members of the family.
