Madden, Picture Window Books, Capstone, 2012, 24 p. 978-1-4048-6683-6) Anara Guard presents a variety of scenarios for grades PK to 3 in which male and female adults want to talk to a child, offer a treat, ask for help, call to you by name, come too near, or want to take a child someplace. In each case the young person does the right thing. Safety tips are given for the situations. In addition to some role-playing activities for practice, a glossary, short bibliography, and an index are included.
