About the Author

Jim Coon was born in Gaylord, Michigan on October 16, 1931. He served 16 months in the Korean War as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps.

Jim became a believer while at Barber College. He married Donna Couch on May 6, 1956, and together they raised 8 children: 5 sons and 3 daughters. Jim barbered with his father for 12 years. The balance of his career was developing small businesses. Retiring at the age of 67 he turned his woodworking hobby into a handy man business which he continues today.
