Wayne Harris-Wyrick is an astronomer by training. After 40 years as the director of a planetarium. He retired to become a full-time writer, concentrating mostly on books for children. He has five published books with more in the works. Wayne is the Non-Fiction Imprint Editor and the Tweens & Teens Imprint Editor for 4RV Publishing. Wayne also writes a monthly astronomy column for the Oklahoman, the state’s largest daily-circulation newspaper, which has been continuously published since 1984. In addition, he has also published a dozen astronomy and science articles and science fiction short stories in various national publications.
In his spare time, he raises a child, 3 dogs, a garden pond too full of fish, and 1 cockatiel with his wife Rocksye.
He also hunts ghosts with a paranormal investigation team, Insight Paranormal.
