Overview

Tolstoy communicates the teachings of Jesus through brilliantly crafted Russian characters and imaginative stories. "Where Love Is, There God Is Also," written in 1885, has been widely told from the pulpit, though few know its proper title or origin. It is the story of a humble shoemaker who takes in tired and hungry guests while waiting for a visit from Christ. This story is what Christmas is all about. It espouses the core principles of Christianity and the true meaning and worship of God. As your children grow beyond "A Night Before Christmas" this story is the perfect complement and/or replacement for the newer more commercial stories that aren't about the true meaning of Christmas. Of course, adults will love this story too. It is a pleasure to publish this new, high quality, and affordable edition of this timeless story.
