There is no such thing as White Privilege, Woke or anything like it, sorry folks.
Seems to be just another guilt trip, don't fall for it, all people should be accountable for their actions, not something that happened 200 years ago, and had no part in it events being solicited by hate Mongers.
This book is not intended to insult or confuse issues, but to present the other side. To deflate the falsehoods and misleading banter and present real facts as experienced by this author.
Chapter 1
White privilege, really, when did it occur and how do I get it? Silly and disrespectful? Not at all. It's a real question from real people who just happen to be white.
During my own sixty-five years upon this earth, I have never once experienced such a privilege, never expected it, and have not benefited from it, quite the opposite.
I recall at the age of five, 1961, visiting family on a summer trip from Virginia to the mountains of Pennsylvania, deep into the Appalachian Mountains.
Very little has changed to this day. The Appalachian Mountains and the white people who live there, are beautiful, hardworking, hard learning, and not one has experienced the white privilege batted around in today's unrealistic chatter.
I recall fondly meeting cousins for the first time, running barefoot, skimming rocks in that lake, five of us in a tub of hot water taking a bath, and dinner on the table that had been cooked on a wood stove.
