Overview

The German soldier Hans Vermel was a real flayer. In one of the southern towns captured by the Nazis, he ended up in a veterinary laboratory, where he found white rabbits in cages. Not all soldiers tasted dietary meat. But when the proceedings began and the platoon commander said that everyone who ate rabbit meat would be sent to the rear to be vaccinated against rabies, everyone said "yes". But instead of the rear, a deep ravine was waiting for them right on the front line.
