Overview

Using simple poetic form and verse, "Who is Really in Charge?" walks a child through questions that most children have about everyday life, leading into the "larger" questions of where everything came from,
what has real value and what does Hashem ask us to do.

The book presents a number of mitzvas that children know and follow, showing how each is connected to listening to Hashem, bringing G-dly light to the world and preparing the world for Moshiach.

The book outlines each of the mitzvas, in a language and form that is easy for children to understand. The book shows children how they can follow these commandments, how they can explain them to their friends and others, and how these commandments fit together to make a more perfect world. Once everyone has accepted G-d as the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and is following these Divine laws, then G-d can begin the Messianic Era which will bring the eternal time of universal peace and prosperity in which all people will happily listen to and follow G-d's commands.

About the Author

Rabbi Yerachmiel Altman is an Orthodox Rabbi who is building both the Jewish and Noahide communities in Jacksonville, NC. He has both in person and online classes for both communities which are attended by people locally as well as worldwide.

With G-ds blessing and work, he has begun strengthening those communities. He is opening both Jewish Children's and Adult libraries., conducting religious services, as well as acting as an educational resource to the community where he is living.

Many of his congregants are veterans active or veteran Marines as his congregation is near the largest Marine base on the east coast of the United States.

Rabbi Altman has dual engineering degrees in Computing Science and Chemical Engineering, enabling him to answer many questions concerning Creation of the world, as well as ritual questions covering Kashruth, Shabbat and Holidays from a dual religious and scientific perspective.
