Overview

Soco & Soco law firm run by four brothers headquartered in Fairbanks, Alaska with offices in the District of Columbia and Atlanta Georgia. The firm has been requested to solve the suicide case of a native Alaskan that was closed three years ago in the District of Columbia after an extensive investigation. Even though it happened in the Washington DC area, evidence found in the state of Georgia has proven beneficial. The brothers knew their best investigator Alphonso, should handle this case.

Alphonso is known for solving almost any case brought before him. Respected across the state of Alaska and the DC area. Many firms in Alaska have sought to pull him away from Soco & Soco, but this firm is like a family to him, so he has been happy working with and for them and they pay him well. Alphonso is single and thirty-four years of age and has been focused on work so much his personal life has suffered. The Soco brothers have been teasing him about becoming an old man, and therefore he needs to find himself a wife. He has hopes of finding that special lady working on this case.

The victim's brother Johnny, who brought this case to the firm based on new evidence he found, has never believed the outcome and felt like the Washington police department did not do an in-depth investigation. His latest evidence for this case involves an affair his brother was having. The condition for Soco law firm to reopen this case is Johnny must get authorization from the family to have the body exhumed and autopsied by the coroner. He realizes reopening this case that not only him, but the victim's immediate family especially his wife Violet will have to go through this all over again, and will most likely bring more grief.
