Who's Knocking At My Door?

This children's book is about various birds & water life found living around a pond in a rural setting .This is all happening in south Florida. There is an unusual, yet true. ending concerning one of those animals which actually inspired the writing of this book.

This story is based on an actual event when an unsuspecting visitor came to our door. Based on this incident I Decided to write a story about this most unusual experience. it seemed like quite an opportunity to introduce a whimsical imaginative story that children can relate to from the perspective of nature and what is possible.

About the Author

"I am a retired electrical drafter who lived out my career in West Palm Beach, Florida. I then decided to move across the state to Fort Myers in order to be closer to my daughter. Since I have become burdened with particular health issues I spend a lot of time studying alternative health therapies. After working some 36 years in the electronics industry, Terrie retired from her position as an elec- trical drafter. Nowadays she spends her time researching all the various methods and therapies available to help patients with incurable diseases. This has been a ten year journey that has proven to be quite tense as well as exasperating. Only recently in this 21st century has there been some rather remarkable promise of real relief in these lifelong physical conditions."
