About the Author

Jennifer attended the United States Naval Academy and graduated in 2011 with a degree in mechanical engineering. She then went on to serve almost eight years on active duty as a nuclear surface warfare officer before beginning a new journey: starting a family. She is now a military spouse of a current active duty naval officer and a mother of two young children.

Writing in her spare time, Jennifer wants to help children understand what their loved ones do in the military and that their sacrifices are for the future of children in our country.
