Welcome wandering souls. It is I, Hawthorne the cute fluffy white cat familiar, here to greet you.
Or am I all that cute? Should you be scared? Where is Robyn?
Here is your warning. Turn around now if you think this to be an ordinary Halloween tale, because that is not what you will find. There is no knocking on doors, no trick or treating, no candy, no cool decorations, no silly princess costumes or superheroes. You won't find children running around smiling and laughing at the end of the night with prizes in hand.
Halloween (or rather Samhain) is not what you think, which poor Robyn learns when she wakes on the 31st for a drink of water and is attacked by an enemy thought long dead. Now she is in unknown territory, alone and wandless, being tortured by what she thinks is a warped reality.
It is up to Robyn's friends to save her and help her find herself. Can we do that before the end of Samhain, at which point she will be lost and darkness will rise?
