Overview

Will to Kingdom is a story of the second coming filled with startling revelations, some given to protagonist Richard Holmes during a series of dramatic visions, and others discovered when Holmes uncovers uncomfortable truths buried in ancient Greek manuscripts of the New Testament. The story is part action adventure when government forces deem Holmes a threat to our "way of life," and presents prescriptions sure to rankle many Christians and Jews alike. It begins with a simple desire to understand if there really is a God. Holmes' instincts tell him there is, and when he dares to read the Bible all the way through, he comes away convinced that its essence is found in the simple phrase "Love your Enemies." This knowledge leads him into a series of visions which carry him out of his physical body into an unimagined dimension of Pure Love. But when he tries to share with others what he had seen, he is greeted with disdain and ridicule. So begins an odyssey deep into ancient Greek manuscripts. Holmes' quest for a new understanding of the gospels launches a time of chaos but also changes the world for the better.

Holmes' inquiry leads the reader to questions about how we perceive ourselves, and also about theologies that form the basis of Christianity:
Is our Time on earth as physical beings a delusion?
Is the Christian belief in Jesus as an incarnate God based on an ancient typo?
Did Jesus warn against a deception that is Christianity's most cherished doctrine?
Was Jesus merely human, a special prophet who saw the coming of Christianity and warned his followers not to go there? Is the historical Jewish / Christian enmity rooted in the failure to embrace his warning?
