About the Author

Lauren Giannella is from the tiny island town of Key West Florida, a military spouse and mother of two littles. The ocean and all it's creatures were neighbors through my childhood and teen years, although its been 20 years since living there I passed that love on to my two girls. Subsequently I've written this series for them, my Stingray and Jelly. This series is meant for children 8 and under.

I bought this book as a gift for a friend's baby shower I read it before giving it away and it made me want to have kids so I can read this beautiful story to them!! Very creative with a beautiful message! Also the art is very beautiful!!
