Overview

America is indeed at a critical juncture in time. With each passing day, woke progressive ideology seems to take a firmer grip on society. Educators, the media, and politicians are consumed with identity politics, and the omnipresent oppressor v. oppressed dichotomy is dividing and pitting the people against each other. Rational discourse has been supplanted deleterious social and political discourse. We have a President of the United States who called the opposition party a "clear and present danger" to American democracy. The same phrase used to justify extraordinary rendition and war. Elected officials have also called members of the opposition party and their supporters to be physically and verbally accosted in public; wherever they may be. People are assaulted just because they have a differing political opinion. All this while most Millennials and Gen-X'ers now believe that socialism is a more just and equitable economic and social order than the American Republican form of government. When asked what socialism is or means, many of the young proponents of socialism cannot define what it is or how it would affect American society and the freedoms we enjoy. It leaves many of us asking how we ever got to this point in time and if there is anything we can do to change the disastrous course we are on.

Relying on his significant law enforcement investigations, risk assessment, and threat mitigation experience, Art Crow skillfully dissects the historical records of the American socialist movement and current events and assembles the interlocking puzzle pieces of the past and present to provide an insightful picture of how this once fringe dogma on the left-right political spectrum has evolved to infect American society and its educational, media, and political institutions.

With Malice Aforethought: Hijacking The American Republic turns back the pages of time and examines the evolution of the American Socialist movement to reveal the historical texts, events, and personalities that have shaped the movement since its earliest days and how the movement has contributed to the country's deleterious social and political discourse. It reveals how the socialist movement, aided and abetted by European socialists and Soviet Russia through its intelligence apparatus, has been working for more than a century to subvert the American people, transition the country to a socialist economic and societal model and bring about the new world the envisioned new world order.

We are where we are because it is the predetermined outcome of the tried and true Russian ideological subversion active measures necessary for the transition of capitalist societies to socialist and, eventually, communist societies. As Vladimir Putin's adviser, Vladislav Surkov, put it, "Russia interferes in your brain, we change your conscious, and there's nothing you can do about it." But that is not wholly accurate.

We can change our current course and halt the march down the pockmarked road to the socialist abyss if reasonable-minded people from all walks of life band together and say NO MORE. America is the greatest, freest, most inclusive, prosperous, and generous country the world has ever known. We need to keep it that way.
