About the Author

A native of Pulaski County, Kentucky, Audrine Wilson Tucker is a former educator and descendant of traditional storytellers. Many of her writings are biographical, instructional, inspirational, and psychological in nature. Her writing reflects the influences of growing up in a rural Appalachia during the mid-twentieth century. She has made a life of refining her skills as a writer in order to authentically represent the Appalachian region to the world from an insider’s perspective. Audrine lives in Somerset, Kentucky.
