Overview

This timely conversation between two sisters follows the twists and turns of the life of a professional woman astronomer.
In spite of the obstacles she faced along the way, Sue's resilience and persistence led her to triumph as she broke the proverbial glass ceiling needed to pursue a successful career in science.
When she was only three, Sue was taught to read by her older sister Ann. The sisters shared a passion for reading imparted to them by their mother, a research librarian. Inspired by books she read as a child, Sue became intrigued by science and math. Though rarely encouraged to seek an advanced degree in science, she moved on independently to become a highly recognized university professor and research scientist.
