About the Author

Dr. (Mrs.) Shashi Kanta Varma is, currently, Assistant Scientist, Department of Home Science Extension Education, College of Home Science, Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. She Joined Haryana Agricultural University in 1979 as District Extension Specialist (Home Science), worked with grass root level functionaries and rural women clientele. Dr. Varma has already published one book, three field manuals and many articles in academic journals. She has participated and presented papers in several national and international conferences and seminars.
