About the Author

Jody Bart’s areas of specialty are political philosophy with a concentration in feminist political thought and feminist epistemology and philosophy of science. In 1996 she served as the Chair of the Ewald committee at Sweet Briar College, designing, coordinating and implementing the national conference on Women Succeeding in the Sciences: Theories and Practices Across the Disciplines. Author of several papers on feminist theory, Dr. Bart travels extensively speaking at colleges and universities about her research on Goldman and other feminist political issues.
