About the Author

Aliada Duncan is a woman behind her words. Since the age of thirteen, she has been fond of the infinite possibilities of the craft of writing. Wordplay: A Potion Named Poetry is her debut collection of poems. Inspired by the likes of Langston Hughes and Jill Scott, she is embarking upon her journey into the wonderful world of writing. She has been blessed with the opportunity to have been previously published in Stars in Our Hearts: Findings in 2012 as a featured poet. She is also a prominent member of the Columbia’s Writer’s Alliance. She plans to take the world by storm with her play of words.
