Overview

Mackov is a dreamer

By day; a shunned laboratory technologist laboring under the mocking eye of an
overbearing manager. By night; an itinerant inventor struggling under the
petty rule of a grasping wife.

Bynova is an Empress

The forceful, yet self-doubting ruler who has lost the love of her life to her greatest
rival, Unssa. Now, with the help of a treacherous Imperial Council, Unssa
schemes to take the throne as well.

Thrown Together

These two embattled lives collide in a desperate attempt to stop an onrushing
planetoid that threatens to destroy Earth. As Mackov falls into a forbidden love for
Bynova, their enemies plot to thwart their efforts, eliminate him, and topple her.

A Trilogy

This is the first in a series that begins with the clash of two cultures and ends in a life and
death struggle against a heart-less anti-civilization that threatens the entire
the galaxy.

About the Author

The author is a frustrated old guy who has spent the last forty years cutting open dead bodies and peering through a microscope in a dark room wondering all the time what he was looking at. He’s mystified by the behavior of his fellow human beings while not quite understanding why his lovely wife is still with him (trying to keep him out of trouble). Then, there are his two wonderful daughters who turned out okay despite having him as a father.

Mackov’s creator is a former US Army officer with ‘experience’ in many fields (meaning he stumbled into them). He enjoys drawing, carpentry, reading, cartooning, photography, and plays a beat up old tenor sax in his ‘spare’ time.
