About the Author

Kirk Wankel is a Chartered Accountant with twenty years of experience including over a decade of senior management at the Vice President or C-suite level. During his extracurricular time, Kirk spent six years as a World of Warcraft raid leader. Kirk took on the challenge of combining his business experience with his extracurricular activities to develop, write, and publish the non-fiction book WoW Factor: an insider’s look at the real skills developed in the virtual World of Warcraft.

When not tied to a computer screen, desk, or both, Kirk is an avid traveller, having visited dozens of countries and six of the seven continents. Currently Kirk is back in the business world as Chief Executive Officer of a small property developer.
