Overview

In a place called the Land of a Thousand Geysers, the centuries-peaceful Empire of Farlion is undergoing a schism.

A clandestine faction of necromantic usurpers move to depose the kings and queens of the land and supplant them all with wicked crowns of their own.

After uncovering a forgotten relic of her birthright, a backward and unassuming shepherd girl is swept up in a whirlwind of bloody visions, sinister magic, and tragic loss.

Twisted by the influence of this odious stone talisman, her fate is all but decided as the contention for her soul is set in motion.

About the Author

As a child, Beefe often found himself immersed in worlds woven by the words of others. Captivated by the craft of storytelling and its potential, he was quickly overcome by a burgeoning desire to create stories of his own, so that he might generate the same wonderment in others as had been done in him.
Inspired by the works of Michael Moorcock, Tolkien, Roald Dahl, Robert E. Howard, and many others—Beefe set out on a writing journey that began with angsty teenage poetry (all lost, thankfully), which gave way to short stories, and finally blooming into lengthier endeavors such as Wyrmstone.
Beefe is a husband and father. Wyrmstone: The Curse of the Talisman is his first novel. You can follow the author on X/Twitter @HotGroundBeef
