About the Author

Barbara Gregorich maintains that her favorite cowboy song - "The Strawberry Roan" - convinced her to hang up her spurs and lariat, toss her western hat, and turn to the writing profession. Since doing so, she has published ground-breaking baseball books such as the fictional She's on First and the nonfictional Women at Play, as well as the crossover nonfiction book Jack and Larry: Jack Graney and Larry, the Cleveland Baseball Dog.

She also writes mysteries and how-to's such as Guide to Writing the Mystery Novel: Lots of Examples, Plus Dead Bodies.
Barbara is happy to share all of her books with readers - but she won't share her spurs, lariat, or western hat.
