May 1861: As dawn broke over the northern sonora Desert, only a few cumulus clouds left from an early morning rain shower lingered in the pale blue sky over the distant mountains, a caravan of over-burdened ox carts carrying a load of silver and gold ore is in the process of hauling their Presious cargo to a smelter on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. In the already hot sun, the drovers were on their knees praying to reach the next water hole before the sun set that evening. Over eighty mounted conquistadores wearing heavy metal chest plates rode to the left and right of the caravan, including one-hundred and fifty-two bound Yaqui slaves. Another contingent of conquistadores followed behind on foot. Unknown to the Spaniards, they were being watched and lead into a trap by vengeful Yaqui warriors seeking to massacre them and free the slaves.
Two hundred years later a lone American treasure hunter attempts to find the lost Spanish silver and gold ore only to be kidnapped by a notorious Mexican outlaw and held for ransom. Two U.S. marshals are joined by a team of Mexican law officers in an attempt to free the treasure hunter and seek justice by chasing the outlaw across norther Mexico.
