Overview

Travel has always been a passion for Henry. As for photography, his approach was typical – family pictures, recording special events and so on. But then, in 2003, something happened that totally changed his approach to both. Photography has since become another of his great passions and is now his second career.

The author wanted to write this book to explain those changes, and, perhaps, how those experiences could help others to expand their photographic and travel horizons. This journey has given him more insight into the world, and in turn, has given more knowledge about himself as he learned to shed preconceptions and embrace the new.

About the Author

Henry Fernando is a photographer based in Ottawa, Canada. His two great passions in life are travel and photography. He believes that travel helps him discover a lot about himself. It provides him with a whole new perspective and understanding of this phenomenal world that we live in. Travel provides him not only with a sense of adventure, but it also opens doors to culture that do not revolve around fast food and social media.

Though originally trained in Biochemistry and later as an IT manager, he was always interested in photography. He experienced a renewed enthusiasm and appreciation for photography after taking a workshop in Contemplative Photography. The workshop opened his eyes to the rich and vivid color and texture of the world around us

Henry's first eBook, Vision 365 - Mastering the Everyday Practice of Seeing, was widely received by photographers and non-photographers alike all over the world.
