About the Author

Max Sturman, a youthful 90, is a US Navy, World War II veteran. He was born in New York City and has lived in San Diego for more than 50 years. A widower, he is a regular at popular dance spots and attends the gym daily. Max has a large garden of organic fruit trees, vegetables and lovely flowers that keep him busy and outdoors in the mild Southern California climate. He founded The Do It Naturally Foundation because he was concerned about the health of the children, especially those suffering from recurring colds and obesity. Max was overweight as a child and remembers the humiliation. Determined to give back, Max discovered the Food Plan, embraced it successfully for himself, and saw others regain their health and natural weight, after following it. A manufacturing research engineer by trade, Max has spent many years researching nutrition too, and the detrimental affects of food’s many additives, to our bodies. His foundation produces and distributes educational material to educate the nation’s youth and adults alike, on a healthy eating plan anyone can follow.
