About the Author

Amy is the founder of FUSION Leadership Group. After high school, she studied theology at Wheaton College but dropped out after two years to start a family. Twenty years later, she completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Liberty University. She also holds a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from South University, as well as several certifications in business, including Project Management Professional (PMP) and Six Sigma. The meshing of the disciplines of psychology, business, and theology shaped her thinking and lead her down the path toward completing You Can Visit, but You Can’t Live There.
This project is a collaboration of material developed from working in the corporate world, teaching Bible studies, speaking at leadership conferences, and counseling with individuals over a twenty-five-year period.
Amy’s passion is to see young men and women Live Free and avoid the many pitfalls of our post-postmodern culture in America was further forged while helping her young adult children navigate state universities and hold on to their faith and conservative values.

Amy and Perry have been married for over thirty years and have three adult children: Nathan, active-duty US Air Force; Valerie, enlisted in the US Air National Guard and a police officer for the city of Pittsburgh and is married to a police officer; and Nicholas, headed to the Navy after high school.
