You Can't Die in a Dream
This short story investigates a child's mind, turning imaginary friends into the beginning states of paranoia and schizophrenia. At such a young age, it is difficult to decide whether to let a child's imagination run free, or decide if there is in fact something more going on. By the end of the story you will be questioning those theories yourself.

At age ten, Martha, with a huge imagination, gets lost between reality and fiction. After reading Alice In Wonderland, Martha has similar characters that appear, wanting to be her friend. Martha soon befriends one of those characters whom she begins to play with each day. Then one day, more "friends" begin to appear, leaving you to decide between innocent child's play or something more. Martha ultimately needs to decide between what is a dream and reality. However, the consequence is immeasurable. Will she listen to her new "friends"?
