Overview

As will be explained in Chapter 1, health is a comprehensive term that includes our physical, mental and social well-being. This book is designed to help you understand the many different aspects of your health--mental, physical, social and ecological. By understanding some ideas in greater depth, you may be able to avoid the unhappiness brought on by both physical and mental stresses. But it is not enough to avoid unhappiness and disease, the truly healthy people live positively and happily – enjoying and contributing to the world around them.
