About the Author

Ron Cooper is a renowned authority on brand development and entertainer marketing. He is also the author of "Creating Your Brand and Marketing you the Actor".

Ron has taught self-promotional marketing techniques in numerous venues. He writes an online column for the Indie Spotlight Network, focusing on the independent film industry in the southeast US.

Ron has worked on several projects for film, television, print and web series. He holds degrees in marketing and business administration.

Ron established Kaleigh Group Entertainment for the purpose of advancing actors and film makers in the independent film industry through film marketing, distribution and talent management. Since then, KGE has established itself as a leader in the area.

In 2014, Ron launched the Eastern NC Film Festival. And has recently acquired the Western NC Film Festival and is looking forward to building upon its 12 year history.

Ron is the host of the Indie Spotlight Network, a web series dedicated to spot lighting and promoting indie film makers and actors. The series features one-on-one conversations with successful, working actors and other industry professionals talking about their career journeys, turning points and lessons learned along the way. The series is designed to help empower young actors in the journeys of their own careers.

Ron is also on the Board of Directors for Eno River Media Productions, the largest nonprofit acting advocacy group in North Carolina. .
