Using boldly printed paper along with wood, fabric, and a variety of other materials, the "little bits of heart" that make up a dim sum meal are presented in wonderful, seemingly three-dimensional collages. The steam rising from the cut-paper cups of oolong tea and the realistic-looking scallion pancake will have readers hungry for more. The Chinese names are used for most of the dishes, and although there is no pronunciation guide, there is a glossary on the back cover. Pair this board book with Grace Lin's Dim Sum for Everyone!
