Zangadoo Kangaroo—a soft-hearted marsupial—lives with his mum, dad, and bouncing baby brother Joey in the town of Zillaroo, Australia. He's been moping about a bit at home since Joey the Wonderful was born and stole his parents' attention. So, it is a Big Day indeed for Zangadoo when his dad lets him take the mysterious family boomerang to the playground. But when Wally Wombat throws the boomerang, it gets stuck in the top of a gum tree!
