Journalist Joab Rackham, in Iraq to carry out an assignment, becomes involved with a team of scientists looking for ancient, advanced ET technology, All they have to go by are cryptic clues written on a clay tablet. Others are also after this technology to aid the return of their alien masters. Against a backdrop of a harsh, searing desert landscape Joab's team is caught up in a race against time to locate it first.
