About the Author

Mona Golden’s love for humanity and children has been her passion and drive since she was a child growing up in the Hill District of Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated from Ursuline College with a B.A. in Sociology and has worked as a Social Worker and Case Manager for over 20 years. In 1998, Mona wrote her first book called “It’s Not Sarah’s Fault” which brings attention to sexual child abuse which was loosely based on her experiences working in the field. Back then it was extremely hard to find an interested publicist or publishing company to publish her book, but she was able to find a self-publishing firm that helped her release it in 2005.

Since then, Mona has written various books, novels, and screenplays for all ages. However, most of her work is focused on children and young adult literature. Mona’s goal is to take her audience on a journey of fun, entertainment, self-awareness, and sometimes healing.
