C. J. Box

Wyoming native Charles James (C. J.) Box is the author of over twenty novels including the award-winning and thrilling Joe Pickett mystery series, and a collection of short-stories. Open Season, the first book starring Wyoming game warden Joe Pickett, was a 2001 New York Times Notable Book. A number of his books have been optioned for film and television. Some of his top titles include Off the Grid, Nowhere to Run, and The Highway.
