Divergent Series

Veronica Roth's science-fiction trilogy introduces readers to 16-year-old Beatrice "Tris" Prior, who lives in a dystopian future society that requires all of its citizens to be divided into one of five factions based on their abilities and interests. Tris's test results, however, reveal her to be a Divergent--she doesn't fit into any of the categories--a fact she must hide. After learning of one faction's plan to overthrow the government, Tris is one of the only people who can save their society.
