The original 1884 version of this classic fairy-tale written by the Grimm Brothers. At only 6 pages long, it makes you wonder how Disney managed to stretch this out to a full length movie. Also, you (like me) are most probably more familiar with the Charles Perault version of Cinderella, with the fairy Godmother and all that. If so, be prepared for a change. There is no fairy Godmother in this one; instead, the thing that grants Cindy's wishes in this version, is a tree.
