Documentarian Andrea Arnold adopts an empathetic, poignant filmmaking lens to profile the lives of two ordinary dairy cows living amongst the wider dairy farming industry. As the narrative follows the cows through their daily routines and their interactions with their handlers and their herd, a deeper understanding of the lives of such animals rises to the surface, ultimately spurring a thought-provoking meditation on human-animal relationships.
