This little book of "Chris Stories" begins as a mother's answer to her adopted son's question, "What was I like when I was a baby?" Adopted at age two, Chris and his mother were sad that they had not known each other when Chris was an infant. From those intimate times when she took him on her lap to recall their earliest shared memories, these stories follow the bright-eyed, curious toddler with Down syndrome on his journey through childhood, his teenage years, and into adulthood.
