Take a look into the history of the famous gunpowder plot that happened in London many years ago. Guy Fawkes is a very popular icon that is thrown onto bonfires every year on the 5th November, to remember it. Children all around the country stand and watch fireworks every year, all wrapped up from the cold of November. On the same night, we eat certain food that is usually barbecued, as well as good old bonfire toffee that is hard and sugary.
