High Tide

Operation Tiger in World War II, was the code name for a large-scale rehearsal for the D-Day invasion of Normandy, France. The rehearsal was to occur on the southern shores of England. As the practice started, the convoy and LST's were discovered and attacked by German E-boats, resulting in a large number of men lost.
