Running from her superficial life in Washington D.C., Adelaide Rogers is on her way up to Boston. She's a city girl, waiting to get a fresh start in a new place. When Addy's car breaks down just outside Pine Valley, Connecticut, however, she unknowingly changes the course of not only her own life, but the lives of those she meets. Pine Valley is a far cry from the city, but its small-town charm and a few of its residents connect with Addy in a way nothing else has.
