Anne Tyler Books

The beloved writer Anne Tyler is the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of the novel Breathing Lessons. Over her long career, distinguished by her singular gift for peeling back the layers of family life, she has produced over 20 novels, as well as short stories and criticism. Many of her books are set in her native Baltimore. She is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Her 2015 novel A Spool of Blue Thread was shortlisted for the Man Booker prize.
