About the Author

In addition to being a professor of Adventure Leadership and Outdoor Ministry at Liberty University, Doug is also a popular outdoor communicator and operates Gilmer Outdoors and Wildlife Interactive, LLC, an outdoor communications, media, education, and consulting company. Doug is a frequent speaker at student events, church big-game banquets, and outdoor expos.
