Dr.Abdullah Fettahoglu is graduated from Istanbul Technical University in 2003 as an M.Sc. Civil Engineer and from Yildiz Technical University in 2015 as a Ph.D. Civil Engineer respectively. He worked in academics and at construction sites as well. His primary academic papers are: "Recommended properties of elastic wearing surfaces on orthotrotropic steel decks" published by Steel and Composite Structures and "A new approach to the determination of stiffness moduli of asphalt mixtures from IDT test" published by Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering (ASCE). He left academics, when he was lecturing as an Assistant Professor at Eastern Mediterranean University in 2018, and started to write self-learning civil engineering books, with which he aims to educate civil engineering students ready to work at construction sites, once graduated.
